The symbol and the emblem of modern
Lebanon, someone have more than 2000 years of age.
In Bsharri, we visit the Gebran Museum,
the international poet of Lebanese origin the convent of St Anthony of Kozhaya,
one of the numerous convents of the Holy Valley but the only one renovated and
with easy access. To some hundreds of meters are located a cave called Our Lady
of Heavy ones, as well as a Phoenician funerary monument, that it will be
possible to discover.
Do not forget the valley Kadisha that
spreads from Besharri to the coastal one. We visit also the famous and deep
valley Kannoubine.
Ehden is a famous summer resort with a
traditional village center whose main square hosts a number of cafes and
restaurants, serving Lebanese food and which have made Ehden a tourist spot for
local and foreign visitors.

Bsharri (Cedars)
The most venerable representatives of the
Cedars of Lebanon, which once covered the country's mountains.

Hundreds of trees stand on slopes 2,000
meters high in the shadow of the 3,088 meter peak of Qornet es- Sawda.
From Lebanon's cedar forests, Solomon got
the timber to build his temple and palace, while the Egyptians Pharaohs used
the wood carve their sarcophagi and 'sunships'.

Kadicha
Climax of Kadisha is a charming village of
traditional architecture. Located in the area of Northern Lebanon, the "Holy
Valley" extends from Bsharri to the littoral. Classified with the world
cultural inheritance of UNESCO, its innumerable caves, vaults and monasteries
as its luxuriant vegetation made of it the most famous natural site of Lebanon.
These monasteries and caves were a long time the haven of peace, refuge of
monk, but also of many Christians, come from the various neighboring areas.

Ehden
Horsh Ehden is a mountainous ecosystem on
the Northern Mount Lebanon chain. It ranges from 1300m to 1950m in altitude and
is located 3.5km north of Ehden and 100km from the capital Beirut.

This unique forest is a mixture of trees. More than
35 different species notably conifers, such as the Cedars, the High Juniper
broadleaves such as the maple and the endemic wild apple. A number of water
sources can be found in Horsh Ehden, the most important of which are Ain
Al-Baq, Nabaa Jouït and Ain Al-Baiada.

Kannoubine
-"Kannoubine": word of Greek origin, which
means "the community life". The Holy Valley extends over a 35 km length. It was
the refuge of the Maronites who came there in the medium of VII century and
lived patriarch unit there, monks, hermits, populate.

In Wadi Kannoubine this deep valley, you
see only one high mountain on a side, a high mountain of the other, and a piece
of sky in top. And if you look in this valley top of one of its hills, you feel
that it attracts you with it by his depth and the force of its seduction. You
are obliged to attach you with your two hands to a tree or a rock of fear of
falling from height a 1000 meters.
